I’m a ceramic artist, teacher and maker. I completed my ceramics degree under Walter Keeler and Mo Jupp at UWE, Bristol.  I went on to establish my own studio, exhibit work and teach classes. I spent many years in the decorative trades but as life moved forwards I was able to return to my first love, clay.

Today I predominantly throw stoneware pieces to be used in our homes and daily lives, producing handcrafted, functional, beautiful pieces for a considered way of living. I love the endless possibilities and the never ending joy that clay brings.

I run small, welcoming pottery workshops for adults that wish to explore, take a breath and enjoy the making. Feeling the satisfaction of learning and producing, can bring immense calm and well being. Building on confidence and the thrill of making something of worth in the world.

In a world of pace, this process slows us down. The transformation of clay never ceases to ease the mind.
